Steven Drench moves on to pastures new

CONFIRMATION that after four years as our Goalkeeping Coach, Steven Drench is moving on to pastures new.

Making his 500th career appearance at the end of 2025/26, an absolutely brilliant coach, and an even better person.

Drenchy had the following to say in light of the news, as a departing message.

“After being offered a fantastic opportunity to coach elsewhere, I’ve made the decision to leave my role here at Chorley.

A big thank you to all of the players and staff for four brilliant years at Victory Park.

I’ve been very fortunate to work alongside some fantastic players, coaches and friends, making some great memories along the way including some incredible play-off games and hitting 500 career appearances.

I wish everyone at the club all the best for the upcoming season and beyond. I’ll be down to watch a game soon. UTM!”

Wishing you all the best, thank you, Drenchy!
