Scott Wilson needs an emergency operation - can you help?

Chorley Football Club is calling on the Magpie family and the wider football community to come together in support of Scott Wilson, who urgently requires an operation following a serious ankle injury.

Scott has suffered ruptured ligaments in his right ankle and, requires surgery, at the earliest possible opportunity.

The injury comes at a hugely frustrating time for Scott, who is determined to return to the pitch and continue his career at Victory Park. However, the required treatment comes at a significant financial cost.

The PFA has kindly offered to part-fund Scott's operation, but there remains a shortfall of around £6,000, while further funding will also be needed to support his aftercare and rehabilitation.

With that in mind, the club is once again asking supporters, fellow football clubs and the wider football community to show the generosity and goodwill that has become synonymous with Chorley FC.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly towards Scott's surgery and the care he will require afterwards.

For a player who has given everything to the club, this is an opportunity for us to give something back and help provide Scott with the best possible chance of returning to the game he loves.
