Mike Calveley appointed as Club Captain!

Confirmation this afternoon that Mike Calveley has been appointed as the Magpies' Club Captain ahead of this weekend's season opener.

Mike has been a mainstay in our midfield, ever since joining the club back in July 2020, making 266 appearances, scoring 33 times.

The 27-year old, did of course, score against Derby County in our infamous FA Cup run to the fourth round, too.

Congratulations, Calvs!
